This is a really cool and useful tutorial! Will there be a part 3 where you finish the model?
I hope so! I’ve been working on another series this week, so I haven’t had time to finish up this one. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to it sometime relatively soon. We’ll see!

I’m really looking forward to part 3. :-) It would be great if you could find the time to continue this tutorial. It’s well explained, and I’m sure it will be appreciated by many people, although few usually say thank you. Having done a couple of video tutorials myself (one was about 6 hours long), I know how much work it is to make one. I’m using Cinema 4D, by the way. It’s a shame that there’s virtually no training material like yours for C4D. Although it is usually possible to translate the techniques to other software packages, in my experience many people have a lot of difficulties doing it and it would never even occur to them to watch a Modo/Max/Maya tutorial.
Keep up the good work! I haven’t started the model yet, only watched a couple of your videos. I’m busy with other projects right now, but I will give it a try. You picked a very nice model, too.
