General Question about Solidworks tutorials
CJ member xhalofirex asks “I was wondering if cadjunkie tutorials for solidworks cover advanced motion simulations for any moving mechanical devices or stress analysis for physical structures. If not, are there any suggestions as to where I can find more of those tutorials?”
SW Guitar 08: Surfaces II
We have just a couple more adjustments to make to our master model. Once we get these guys done, it will make it easier to make the final cuts with the additional surfaces we’ll be adding. Keep those learning caps on ladies and gentlemen, we’re almost there!
SW Guitar 07: Surfaces I
Today we’ll begin digging deeper into the master model we’ve been developing the past 6 videos. Starting with the body, we’ll begin to add surfaces by utilizing the existing geometry that we set up previously. Buckle your seat belts, this is going to go quick!
SW Guitar 06: Fretboard Profile II
Pop those champagne corks ladies and gentlemen, this is a time for celebration! This video concludes the first section of our Classical Guitar Series. Next we’ll be using the future-proof framework we’ve been building and bring this bad boy to life. Hope you brought your earplugs, it’s going to get loud soon!

Curious how to flatten your Feature Tree madness? We’ll take a look at a few ways of doing this. Additionally, our good friend Ray from Burton Snowboards shared with us a script he uses. We’ll take a look at how to import and use the script, plus look at a few tweaks…
Q&A: 3D Splines in SolidWorks
We’ll be in SolidWorks today with a question from user Peter, who is having troubles constraining splines in 3D Space. Using geometry we created in NX in our last Q and A, we’ll be looking at comp curves and how to create smooth surfacing similar to what we achieved in NX.
Q&A: Gunmetal Finish in modo
Today we’ll look at a simple method for creating a relatively convincing gunmetal material, complete with semi-worn edges.
Q&A: Advanced Patterns in SolidWorks (2 videos)
