Have two cameras laying around somewhere? Put those bad boys to good use and utilize this *FREE* program that enables you to take a scan of any 3D object (a shoe, your foam model, Aunt Suzie’s cat?).
Two cameras form a ?stereo-pair?, which is essentially two photographs that the service utilizes to generate the ‘scan’. It’s significantly more complex to setup than Photofly, but great for capturing 3D scans of moving objects.
The online service provides you with a glorious .obj file to work with (includes UVs).
