I make one simple request in Episode 6 of EvD, and leave it to Gustavo to find exactly what I asked for.
Acquire is a sweet little app that enables one-button transfers from iPhone camera to Photoshop: snap a photo, hit ‘use’, and the photo pops up in Photoshop on your PC. Like friggin’ magic.
Getting it set up is still a bit of a chore, since you have to (a) be on the same wifi network as the PC, (b) log in to the PC via the Acquire login screen, (c) use the camera from within the app, and (d) have Photoshop open when you decide to transfer the photo. These things are all pretty obviously necessary from a technical standpoint, but they’re still barriers that I hope can be overcome in the long run, and it’s a helluvulot better than whippin’ out the ol’ 30-pin!
