Overview

In this soft drink studio shot we?ll see a drink can splashing through a wall of water as beads of ?sweat? roll down the sides of the ice-cold can of Splash Fizzy. By the end of this week we will have modeled the can, the splashing liquid, and the water droplets using modo?s sculpting tools.

topics:

  • Organic [splash] modeling, intro mesh sculpting tools
  • Morph Deformers & basic animation
  • Replicators, Paint Replicas

Homework

Create an object involving a lot of splashing liquid, wet fabric, or other flowing organic material. Next week we’ll juxtapose it with a cold, hard material like stone or metal.
