Last semester was my first time teaching at Otis College of Art & Design, and I decided to record videos summarizing the content covered during my weekly digital design class. I learned that the students found it very helpful, and I have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback I’ve gotten from my subscribers both on cadjunkie and YouTube. Due to the success of the first series, I’ve decided to continue.
As a part of my class for Otis College of Art & Design during the fall semester of 2010, I’m documenting the entirety of the course in video form. The YouTube playlist below has the comprehensive video series (still a work in progress), but it’s broken out into its three individual “parts” as well in the drop-down menus at the top of the cadjunkie site.
I want these to be the best they can be. Your comments are not only welcome, they’re appreciated. The more feedback I get, the better I can serve the design community. If you enjoy these vids, you think there’s something that could be better, or you think they totally stink, be sure to chime in. (If you think they totally stink, please use good manners, and please be kind enough to give objective ways I might improve.)
Enough chit chat. Lets make stuff!

Adam,
Thanks for doing what others couldn’t: simply teaching CAD and CAD taught simply. Your instructions have managed to lower my anxiety towards surfacing where others have (i swear) intentionally raised it in the past.
Do you have or are you planning on releasing the lessons on video for purchase? If so I’d like be the first in line to buy a copy. These tutorials have been a God-sent. Thanks again.
You’re welcome, David. Many thanks for the encouragement!
I am in the process of finding a way to make my newest material available for purchase, but have run into some unanticipated snags along the way. I hope to have the first few tutorials available by no later than the end of March, 2011.
Adam

Agreed! These are some of the best (if not the best) SW tuts out there. Thanks again! I’m eagerly looking forward to more advanced stuff.
You are king!
You are marvellous teacher, adam — great talent! Your SolidWorks tuts are the best conditioned I’ve got in touch so far!!
Thanks Hannes! That’s very kind. I am glad it’s useful to you. Let me know if there’s ever anything in particular you’d like to see.
Great work on your site, btw! Very impressive.
