I typically create PDF presentations using inDesign, but there are times when it’s more convenient to do it straight from Photoshop. Here’s a great little workflow for creating a PDF presentation from Photoshop, using a greatly under-used feature called ‘Layer Comps’.

Adam great tutorial, very easy to follow and very helpful. One random question I have is what did you render the car model in?? And how did you achieve the effective white/grey colour effect?
Thanks
Hi Rich!
The car was modeled and rendered in modo, and it’s actually a video tutorial series I did for 3DWorld a while back! The series is actually free to download from the 3DWorld website, which you can access from here:

Best of luck, and keep in touch!

hey,
I just wanted to get the black to alpha action you used in your Basic Sketch Setup for Photoshop CS4 tutorial.
Where can I download it?
thanks
Lina
I’m afraid I don’t have it separated out. Feel free to create it yourself (it’s really simple), or download the entire set of tools and use only the actions.
Best,
Adam
