I’m 85% finished with a six-page tutorial spread in 3D World Magazine, and if all goes as planned, it should go to press by February. I won’t give away what I’ll be modeling just yet, but lets just say I’m pretty excited about it! This should be fun. :)

  1. Nice!

I subscribed to 3D World for a year but wasn’t sure whether I am going to extend it because the content doesn’t excite me that much.

But I’ll look forward to reading this!! :)

Nice! Can you at least share what tools you’ll be using?

Hey Jeff! It’ll be a general modo-modeling overview for solid-surface modeling (which is what I do 99% of the time). I’ll be starting by building an overall form, and then breaking that form up into individual “parts”. There will hopefully be a video version of the tutorial available as well. Stay tuned!
