I was recently cleaning out my huge hard drive folders full of old and useless junk, and came across a collection of my old figure drawings from college. In adition to my full figures from class, I would often draw my left hand, since it was a readily available model. It’s fun to time warp back! Believe it or not, the ability to draw hands without tracing a photo has been a huge productivity boon for me. I’m able to sketch out storyboards much more easily because I’m able to just draw from my knowledge of the human form, rather than having to take a photo and trace it. Plus, it’s fun!
